Here one of the Cow-headed goddess Yogini is represented giving birth to an ecosystem. The work proposes an alternative means to think about motherhood, care, symbiosis, and reciprocity to explore the interrelation between humans and more than human beings.

Yoginis are village goddesses, protecting people of the local traditions. They are usually depicted as beautiful-bodied women with rounded breasts, slender waist and broad hips, and animal-headed. There is mystery and speculation around the worship of the Yogini cult and why they were worshipped.
