Tender Notice | 2017

Chinese ink on Wasli Paper

Aug 2017

The work investigates the politics of human society, that how the sustenance of one part of the world lead to the death of the other and vice a versa i.e. the interdependence of human beings in a larger context. Living inside a world with the crisis of global warming, these drawings are about my own personal journey to Maldives, which is experienced as a laboratory of both living and dying ecology exploring the notions of life, existence, growth, decay and time.

The treatment of the work is subjected to a tender surreal experience of the dying natural habitat of corals and the whole work is understood as a notice been sent out in order to check our own actions as human beings.
